NEW from Delia Fontana
When the residents of Sangre de Cristo, a sleepy town on the border between Mexico and Texas, say no mas to the violence of the narcotrafficantes, they turn to town curandera Aixa Riley, a woman who is a citizen of two nations but also walks in two worlds. For Sangre de Cristo is a place where the living co-exist with the dead and Aixa Riley is a bruja, a witch.
This “short read” (approximately 11 thousand words) is the self-contained first chapter of the Bruja Roja (Red Witch) series, a paranormal horror tale with a distinctly Hispanic feel.
The three sequels to the story are already written and will be released once a month beginning in August 2014.
Note: Aixa & the Scorpion contains adult language and situations, including violence and rape. It is not suitable for young readers.
