Barnes and Noble stands behind Nook

GoodeReader reports on Barnes and Noble’s renewed commitment to its Nook Book division, with the bricks and mortar book giant now planning the addition of Nook Audio books.

This initiative from an eBook Revolution challenger that has been counted out more than once can be attributed to the dilution of the market that many blame on Amazon’s restrictive Kindle Unlimited eBook subscription service, the online retailer’s latest attempt at publishing domination where control is more important than sales.

Online chatter suggests wary authors and readers are returning to B&N and other eBook sellers like Apple iBooks with opportunity and market diversity in mind.
