Indies continue to grab market share with reasonable prices and innovation

A Guardian article confirms that the decrease in UK eBook sales can be blamed directly on the Five Biggest UK Publishers’ insistence on using Agency Pricing that allows them to set their eBook prices disagreeably high. (A practice they’ve adopted to undermine the eBook market and to force consumers back to print.)

The article goes on to show that Indie authors and publishers continue to eat up the market share that the big five publishers are throwing away.
