EU Lowers VAT on eBooks to Match Books

Quartz reports that the European Union is lowering the value-added-tax (VAT) on eBooks to match “books” in a move that equates and harmonizes digital titles with their paperback and hard cover versions.

A little validation that is bound to help eBook sales in the EU.
