Amazon and Big Five Publishers Collude in Anti-trust/Price-fixing

ArsTechnica untangles the anti-trust and price-fixing litigation surrounding Amazon and the big five legacy publishersHarperCollins, Hachette, Macmillan, Simon & Schuster, and Penguin Random House.

The same publishers pulled this scam colluding with Apple (that paid $450-mil settlement on denial of appeal) in 2007, but the five settled out of court. (Publishers paid out tens of millions …)
