Amazon.com offers classic literature, classic novels, etc. as Kindle Books starting at 99 cents! Take a look here but remember a lot of the older titles are in the public domain and can be downloaded for free at Project Gutenberg. (Not as a Kindle Book unfortunately. Amazon will convert files to Kindle format for a price. See where they’re going with that?)

Gwellstaylor.com: Author G. Wells Taylor is giving away a free eBook in various formats for eBook Reader, desktop or iPhone. Get it here. He wrote the Wildclown Mysteries, the Apocalypse Trilogy, etc. His eBooks are in the $3.00 range and are available as PDF files through Lulu.com but he’s promising more formats and a new Author Direct Store.
