Legacy Publisher and Retailers Squabble Over Profits

GoodeReader posted about Amazon Audible’s return fire to complaining (and complicit) legacy publishers declaring their ability to do whatever they want. Not sure how much this has to do with the public.

“Fair use” Amazon and the legacy publishers declare and grumble. “Fair use” laugh the Indie authors and loyal readers.

It’s between Amazon and the legacy publishers now. They’re starting to squabble over the uneven playing field and tilted market that they have created. (It has a real American Oligarch feel to it.)
