Apparently heavyweights:\u00c2\u00a0<em>Sports Illustrated<\/em>, the <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em>, <em>Better Homes and Gardens<\/em>, <em>Wired<\/em> and <em>Vanity Fair<\/em> are planning to develop an online storefront capable of going toe-to-toe with Amazon.<\/p>\n<p>Their aim is to build an eShop that would offer full-color, interactive digital versions of their newspapers and magazines. These documents would be readable by the next-generation of touch-screen devices. Sounds like a lot of cooperation will be required from these former competitors to make this work.
