Wells <\/a><\/strong><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gwellstaylor.com\">Taylor<\/a>.<\/strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>The mix of content includes new stories in <strong><a title=\"Michael Patrick Sullivan\" href=\"http:\/\/redrighthand.net\/\" target=\"_self\">Michael Patrick Sullivan\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s<\/a><\/strong> long-running <em><strong>Auslander<\/strong><\/em> series and a new entry in <a title=\"Roger Alford's Black Spectre\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theblackspectre.com\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Roger Alford\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s<\/strong> <\/a>adventures of the Black Spectre. Novelist <strong><a title=\"Brian Trent\" href=\"http:\/\/briantrent.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Brian Trent<\/a><\/strong> is back with his two-fisted adventurer Rylan Mathis. Frequent contributor<strong> Christian Dabnor<\/strong> provided the cover story, a cat-and-mouse tale about a fox and a bear. AAM\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s mainstay <strong><a title=\"Cormac Brown\" href=\"http:\/\/cormacwrites.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Cormac Brown<\/a><\/strong> offers up a noir homage to Dashiell Hammett in \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The Tsar\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Treasure\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and also interviews writer <strong><a title=\"Kelli Stanley\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kellistanley.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Kelli Stanley<\/a><\/strong>. The multi-talented <strong>Sarah Vaughn<\/strong> and <a title=\"Joanne Renaud\" href=\"http:\/\/www.joannerenaud.com\/\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Joanne Renaud<\/strong><\/a>\u00c2\u00a0both contributed stories and illustrations for this issue with Joanne Renaud doing double duty as the cover artist.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the usual suspects (<strong><a title=\"Christine Pope\" href=\"http:\/\/www.christinepope.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Christine Pope<\/a><\/strong>, <strong>Kat Parrish<\/strong>,<strong> Blue Jackson<\/strong>, <strong><a title=\"Peter Mark May\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freewebs.com\/darkside6869\/myblog.htm\" target=\"_self\">Peter Mark May<\/a><\/strong>, <strong>Ron Capshaw<\/strong>, <strong><a title=\"Mark Caldwell\" href=\"http:\/\/www.impworks.co.uk\/\" target=\"_self\">Mark Caldwell<\/a><\/strong>), several promising new writers made their debut in Issue #8\u00e2\u20ac\u201d<strong>J. Jasper\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s<\/strong> politically charged \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Fair and Balanced\u00e2\u20ac\u009d led the way, with brothers <strong>V.J.<\/strong> and<strong> Justin Boyd<\/strong> contributing a dark fairy tale, Berkeley Hunt offering up a story of sibling hostility and <strong>R.C. Barnes<\/strong> providing a tale based on the legend of <em>La Llorona<\/em>, the weeping woman. All that plus editor Tomlinson\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s usual \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I Want to Sleep With\u00e2\u20ac\u009d feature, starring Yul Brynner.<\/p>\n<p>Issue #8 is a special double-issue to mark the magazine\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s second anniversary. Publisher<strong> John Donald Carlucci<\/strong> has also announced that it will be the quarterly periodical\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s last issue.
