Master of Horror becomes Master of Market Manipulation

Upstart Business Journal has a post about horror author Stephen King forcing his fans to shop in bricks and mortar book stores by releasing a hard-copy-only version of his new book Joyland.

Is the Master of Horror becoming the Master of Market Manipulation? I think this is really just going to guarantee a healthy demand for pirated versions of his titles, and will alienate eBook enthusiasts that King once encouraged to go digital with his Ride the Bullet “Internet” title back in 2000. (Didn’t he help start the eBook Revolution?)
