Boingboing.net posted a story you wouldn’t expect to see in modern times, but in it eBooks are showing their versatility by dodging the California Orange Unified School District’s book banning (burning?).
Sadly, the “conservative” fascists behind the movement have banned the entire virtual library. That don’t impress us much, since it’s near impossible to stop or throttle the trafficking of eBooks and digital media (whether they offend some people–or not).
The best first response to this madness for thoughtful citizens is to show solidarity by purchasing, reading, and sharing the offending eBooks … and the second is to push back at the voting booth.
