Barnes and Noble launched its low-priced ($249)Â Nook Tablet at a press conference in New York this morning. CNNMoney says the new device is an upgrade to the popular B&N NookColor, a full color Android eBook Reader.
This move is clearly directed at the growing tablet market leader iPad and Amazon’s $199 Kindle Fire.
This year’s holiday shopping season is going to be interesting.
