Broadcast Newsroom cites Simba Information’s “Trade E-Book Publishing 2012” report that says eBook use among US adults has risen from 17.2% to 24.5%. The Japan Times says relative newcomer to the eBook Revolution, Rakuten, is giving Amazon.com a run for the money in the Japanese eBook market with the release of their Rakuten Kobo Touch.  Amazon has plans to bring Kindle to a market that is predicted will be hotly contested.
