Apple to get anti-trust monitor

All Things D has an interesting update to the U.S. Department of Justice’s anti-trust lawsuit against Apple and 5 major publishers that ended with the iPhone creator’s guilty verdict.

The judge who tried the case has appointed an anti-trust monitor for the iPad maker to make sure the company doesn’t commit the same crime again.

I guess that’s what you get when you insist you are not guilty of the crime even when you’ve been found guilty in court and your 5 partners-in-crime cut deals with the prosecution.

Enough already. Stop the Apple bashing. You know it and I know it, the only read beneficiary of the DOJ decision is Amazon. The book industry and authors do not benefit.
