eBook Revolution Predictions for 2010

Is it that time of year already? I guess with only a month to go, it’s not too early to start rolling out predictions for the coming year.

PaidContent.org has an interesting article “Ten Predictions For The E-Reader/E-Book Market In 2010″ that’s well worth the read.

It suggests that all the positives we’re seeing as 2009 winds down will only get better in 2010. I tend to agree.

Well all the predictions are just fine except the following:

Who is writing or now organizing an e-book indie publisher community free of advertising? Where do I find other publishers in this field that express their thoughts as I now have here?

If the idea, as a reader, is of ‘forcing’ me to see, hear, or read advertisments on e-books, then the industry will crash before it begins. This new medium must be different than the current ‘destroyed’ commercially saturated national media or it will be stillborn. Discovering the truth is no longer availiable in these ‘national’ arenas of information. This makes it virtually worthless as a trusted source.

It seems that ‘again’ I’m breaking new ground before anyone else in the general public is even aware of e-book media that is now free of advertising.

As a Kindle DX owner I have already written an original book “The Scale of Man – Time Bombs of reality in the Hall of Mirrors”. This new book is now posted at Amazon in the e-book section for $8.99. This should be the only form of adveertising allowed when considering e-book experiences as a potential reader.

This book is a good read with a solution to many problems, including the one above, but I doubt if anyone will ever find and purchase it. Why? Because there is no specific ‘reference’ in detail of how to discover ‘new’ sections of information not formerelyh published by large publishers trying to make a buck with this new format.

In the end this author desires to publish the truth about the system as I see it with the profound knowledge that there are others that know and have expressed their knowledge of the same.

As a form of reference I would point to “Empire of Illusiion – The end of liteacy the triumph of illusion by Chris Hedges.

    Happy reading!
