Rakuten Kobo Touch leading in Japan.

The Japan Times says relative newcomer to the eBook Revolution, Rakuten, is giving Amazon.com a run for the money in the Japanese eBook market with the release of their Rakuten Kobo Touch.  Amazon has plans to bring Kindle to a market that is predicted will be hotly contested.

BeBook Pure – £69 ($108 US)

BeBook is offering a new E Ink Reader for the rapidly expanding UK eReading market. RegHardware says the BeBook Pure will retail for £69 ($108 US). That’s a nice £20 ($31 US) less than the £89 ($139) Kindle 4.

Will the Sony Reader PRS-T2 hit the market under $100?

Liliputing says that the new Sony Reader PRS-T2 might hit the market for $100 or less to match other market leaders. It’s about time Sony got realistic about the game.
