The Christian Science Monitor says a new scorecard system is being made available to libraries so they can rate publishers on their eBook offerings in an attempt to improve relationships between the reading facilitators.

Amazon says eBooks are mult-billion dollar category.

Gigaom reports Amazon eBook sales increased by 70% in 2012 with CEO Jeff Bezos saying eBooks have transitioned to become “a multi-billion dollar category for us and growing fast.”
